Back-Rack Basket
The Back Rack Basket is our newest basket, designed with the environmentally-conscious consumer in mind. Perfect for carrying two paper grocery bags, side-by-side! This is also an ideal bike basket for carrying larger dogs. It is capable of carrying two smaller dogs as well. Harnesses that will hold your dogs securely in the basket can be purchased (see list of accessories below).
This basket can be mounted on a back rack, on the rear of the bicycle. It can be fastened on the back rack with cable ties (pictured), or it can be bolted into place. If you don't have a back rack, we offer one that will accommodate the 19-inch bicycle basket (see list of accessories below). Many back racks don't offer adequate support for this 19-inch basket. The large (12-inch base) basket, on the other hand, fits easily on most bicycle racks and does not require the extra-long rack that I sell.
